At ATM8888, we cover all 25 events on the BWF World Tour calendar every year, from the Super 100 series right through to the Super 1000. That means there's almost no week in the year where you can't bet on a badminton match featuring Malaysian players. From January's Malaysia Open and February's German Open to the All England in March, all the way through to the BWF World Tour Finals at year's end — the betting schedule at ATM8888 is never empty.
One thing that sets badminton betting at ATM8888 apart is the depth of markets on offer. Unlike other platforms that only provide win/loss options, ATM8888 offers more than 20 different bet types for every major badminton match. These include set handicap betting, points over/under, individual set winners, and outright tournament picks that you can place days or even weeks before the competition begins.
The ATM8888 loyalty programme also offers dedicated perks for active badminton bettors. Every wager earns VIP points that can be redeemed for playing credits or cash bonuses. Active players are also eligible for enhanced odds on selected matches — meaning you effectively get better than standard market odds. Notifications about badminton-specific promotions are sent directly to your phone or email so you never miss an opportunity.
For more serious bettors, ATM8888 provides in-depth statistics on all major players — head-to-head records, performance across different surfaces, three-set versus two-set match records, and much more. All of this data is accessible directly on the platform, so there's no need to hunt for it elsewhere. Paired with live match streaming and real-time score updates, you have everything you need to make more informed betting decisions.
From Kuala Lumpur to Sabah, from Penang to Johor Bahru — Malaysians from every corner of the country have made ATM8888 their go-to badminton betting platform. A well-optimised mobile app means you can follow the action and place bets at the same time, wherever you are. A 4G or 5G connection is more than enough to live stream matches on ATM8888.
Badminton has its own unique dynamics compared to other sports. Use these tips to make smarter betting decisions.
In badminton, head-to-head records between two players carry significant weight. Some players psychologically dominate certain opponents regardless of their world ranking. Check atm8888 for the full head-to-head history before placing your bet.
Players who compete in back-to-back tournaments without a break may be running low on energy by the later rounds. Lee Zii Jia, for instance, has often shown better form when given adequate rest between tournaments.
Wait for the first set to finish before placing your bet if you're unsure. After the first set, you already have real insight into how both players are performing on the day — and the odds still offer good value in many situations.
Some players perform significantly better on home soil. The Malaysia Open at Bukit Jalil is a prime example — the energy from local supporters gives Malaysian players a real psychological edge.
Outright bets (tournament winner) placed before a tournament begins typically offer better value than single-match wagers. If you have strong conviction on a particular player, getting in early on outright odds can deliver significantly higher returns.
Many bettors focus only on men's singles. But Malaysia is exceptionally strong in men's doubles and mixed doubles — Aaron/Wooi Yik and Chen Tang Jie/Peck Yen Wei are often outstanding value bets, frequently offering more competitive odds than the singles markets.
